Monogrammed makeup bags, custom totes filled with swag, embroidered apparel…when it comes to purchasing bridesmaid gifts, the luxe-and-lovely options are seemingly endless! High-quality gifts for grooms and groomsmen, on the other hand, are often a bit more difficult to come by. That’s why we’re thrilled to have discovered Neat Pineapple and FLY Barbershop, two Dallas-based brands that produce products for men of style preparing to walk the aisle.

NEAT PINEAPPLE

From limited edition bow ties to customizable leather koozies, we love that Neat Pineapple is serving up handcrafted gifts for him that are as eye-catching as they are artisanal. “We use the highest quality leather from American-based tanneries, ensuring our products will stand the the test of time. Each step in the process is done completely by hand, even the stitching,” says owner Scott Strittmater. “Every product is customizable, including the leather color, personalized stamping, and hardware options.”

For the groom looking to give his groomsmen something completely over the top, or the bride searching for a unique gift for her husband-to-be, Neat Pineapple offers Neat Crates. The customizable crates include a selection of Neat’s own leather products as well as goods curated from other brands with a similar cool-guy vibe. “It’s a fun experience building a Crate on our site, because you get to build it out completely how you want it,” says Scott. “Currently we feature cigars, beef jerky, coffee from the local Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters, socks, and salted caramels. All of the brands we partner with are American-made.”

FLY BARBERSHOP + POMADE

FLY Barbershop Founder Ted Hoffman began working on restoring a 1969 Airstream as a side project after moving from New York to Texas, but today the Airstream-turned-barbershop—which was visually inspired by vintage black and white photographs of Steve McQueen—is an integral part of the FLY brand. “After a very successful launch of our mobile barbershop in 2014, our next goal was to launch our own product line inspired by the Airstream, the era, and of course Steve McQueen,” says Ted. The resulting product, FLY Pomade No.1, launched in the summer of 2015 and the company has plans to expand its product line throughout the first quarter of 2017.

FLY Brand Pomade

“Although the pomade market is crowded, we believe we created a unique packaging design,” Ted says. “Our formula is proprietary and I think the following traits separate us: our product is water soluble, has a great vanilla and sandalwood scent, includes coconut and Vitamin E, and combines strong hold with a matte finish.” The perfect product to coif your ‘do for the “I do”!
